The Hemispheric Institute prepares for the 7th Encuentro, Staging Citizenship: Cultural Rights in the Americas, to be held at the National University of Colombia in Bogotá,

Staging Citizenship, Performing Rights is a summer course offered in conjunction with the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics. This course explores the relation of culture and rights in the Americas, with emphasis on contemporary Bogotá, Colombia.
"Across Borders: Working Transnationally in the Arts" conference was held June 30 – July 2, 2009 at the Centro Hemisférico/FOMMA in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas.
Hemispheric New York's EMERGENYC program concluded the second year of workshops with final presentations and performance installations, July 19, 2009 at Hemispheric Institute.

Some of the materials are accessible to the public, and some are for institutional members only.
