Faith in the Body
Faith in the Body poetically condenses corporal practices from Afro-Brazilian religious expressions. Prayer, games, dance, ‘ginga,’ candle lighting, offerings, expressive and striking performances from Brazilian culture. The body in faith is a reminder of the body, a traditional act, recreated through the exciting language of gestures.
