
Rodrigo Arenas Carter is a performer and a published author. He has presented work in exhibitions such as Se Alquila (Guatemala), FAE (Chile), and in public spaces. Manuel Tzoc Bucup is a poet and visual artist. He has published 5 books and presented work at Se Alquila (Guatemala) and Western Carolina University’s Fine Art Museum, among others.
The Reestablishment of Abya Yala
Abya Yala was the name given by the Kuna People to what is currently known as The Americas. By bringing back this term, we develop a poetic problematization of topics such as gender, racism, and dissidence. Our proposal explores the possibilities of the body to reconfigure the political and personal cartography of our continent.
