
Luna Acosta (Bogotá, Colombia) is a visual artist, performer, researcher, and feminist. She holds degrees in Art History and Curatorship and Sound Art. She researches at the Latin American Aesthetic Center (CIELA) at Universidad de Chile and explores the ties between violence, finitude, roots, and exile. Her work has been shown throughout Latin America.
Sovereignty/Necropolitics
From the recorded testimonies of Colombian migrants, Acosta selects words and shared feelings, which are activated from the amplification of the falling drops of blood. Each drop is a possibility of tell untold stories and without mourning. A circulatory system outside the body as a place of sovereignty.
