
David Añiñir Guilitraro is a cultural organizer and poet. He has contributed to contemporary Mapuche cultural reflection through poetic actions that promote identity. His published works include Mapurbe, venganza a raíz and Haykuche, among others. The publication Autoretraxto is a compilation of his most powerful works. His work has been included in numerous anthologies in Latin America and Europe.
Mapurbe: “The Children of Children of Children… (Those Bodies)”
Mapurbe is an aesthetic and poetic conceit of contemporary Indigenous identity, that has been coined in the cultural records of the Mapuche people. This scenic and poetic montage will be created along with musician-poet Pedro de Piedra and Patricia Contreras.
