
Dr. Julie Nagam is the Chair in the History of Indigenous Art in North America with the University of Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Art Gallery. She has shown her artwork and research nationally and internationally.
Tsēma Tamara Skubovius is an interdisciplinary artist and member of the Tahltan First Nation. Her praxis actively deconstructs and (re)construct linkages to the land through artistic interventions connecting city spaces to the constructed wild, materials to mine sites, and bodies to the land.
Reverbs: Sound Seeds
The intention of this artwork is to grapple with the body, memory and Indigenous knowledge within a large urban city space such as Santiago, Chile. Riot‐Rock Rattles are connected by a network of wires that link with each other and reverberate material bodies to the land.
