
Marcela Rosen is a mother, grandmother, daughter, performance artist, manager, blogger, and activist for open knowledge and technology. She holds a B.A in Arts from U. de Chile and is director and columnist for the online arts magazine Escáner Cultural. Her performances connect art and life through quotidian site-specific participatory actions.

Installaction that will take place in front of La Moneda, where we’ll plant an amaranth and play Mapuche music to give it newen (strength). I will put in that space, loaded with so many histories and crossings, a living sign with a message: amaranth, sacred plant of Aymaras and Quechuas, is here to defy GM soy and glyphosate, it’s carcinogenic herbicide.
