Johan Mijail (1990, Santo Domingo) is a journalist, writer and performer. He published Metafiction in 2011 and Beggars of the Caribbean (Desbordes) in 2014. He has participated in performance festivals in the Dominican Republic, Germany, Chile and the United States. His work focuses on building transfeminist and decolonial imaginaries.
