The Hemispheric Institute and Verso Books presented the book launch event for A History of Violence: Living and Dying in Central America, featuring renowned Salvadoran journalist and author Óscar Martínez (author of The Beast) in conversation with Francisco Goldman and Jon Lee Anderson. The event was be moderated by Diana Taylor.
Organized by the Hemispheric Institute and Verso Books. Co-sponsored by the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies and the King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center at New York University. This event was free and open to the public. A photo ID is required to enter NYU buildings. Hemmerdinger Hall is a wheelchair accessible venue.
