Inside the Victor Jara Stadium, I amplified 6 independent audio tracks which intervened, in programmed form, the totality of the (empty) space. The audio tracks were elaborated from fragments of voiced extracted from my own audiovisual productions, which evoke diverse social and political realities and challenge the official silence in response to discourses or demands that are ignored by the centers of hegemonic power. As a counterpoint to the aforementioned audio tracks, I intervened the basement of the venue with the soundscape of the streets around the Stadium in the neighborhood of Estación Central. Formerly known as "Estadio Chile," the Victor Jara Stadium was utilized in 1973 as a center for detention, torture, and execution by the Chilean military regime.
