Join poet and performance scholar Deborah Paredez as she interviews the legendary Jomama Jones in an intimate evening of conversation and song. Featuring musician Bobby Halvorson and a surprise guest or two!
Called a "true theatrical original" by Backstage Magazine, Jomama Jones has brought her comeback tour across the US to critical acclaim and sold-out houses. Addressing themes of resilience, transformation and courageous love, Jomama's songs speak to "the comeback in us all."
Deborah Paredez is currently at work on a book length project about Divas and their ever-evolving cultural impact. Jomama Jones and Bobby Halvorson are preparing the release of their fourth CD together, FLOWERING, and will be in concert at Joe's Pub on March 31st to premiere many of the songs from that recording.
