Screening: Video and Performance by Latin American Arists, presented by e-fagia.org

LilianaVelezSmE-fagia.org, a Toronto based visual and media arts organization, will present a video program of performance practices, ranging from performance artists who use video as a means of documenting, to video artists that perform exclusively for the camera. This program acknowledges the importance of video in other artistic practices, suggesting that contemporary video art is more a hybrid form than a specific discipline.

The screening will be an eclectic mix of video and performance that includes Latin American artists from Canada, Mexico and the U.S.

Curated by Arlan Londoño.

Performance and video by Laura Barrón, Julieta Maria, Liliana Velez, Marcela Armas, Alfonso Suarez, Theo Pelmus, Ulysses Castellanos
